Covenanters Resource Page

This page is intended as a resource for the Covenanters who fought the Battle of Bothwell Bridge (22 June 1679) and were banished to the plantations in the U.S. as slaves. 257 of these Covenanters were transported on the Crown of London which was shipwrecked off Deerness on 10 Dec 1679.

• Betty Rudolph maintains a page on Thomas Brownlee who fought at the Battle of Bothwell Bridge and was on the Crown when it sunk. Hanna lists Thomas as being killed, but he actually survived and died in 1713
